Dryden Forest Management Co.

The Dryden Forest, which covers around 136,000 hectares of wooded area, is managed by the Dryden Forest Management Company Limited, which was founded on August 21 and granted a sustainable forest licence by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry on June 10, 1998. Ten shareholders with prior logging experience presently own DFMC. For DFMC's management team to receive guidance and support, the shareholders elect a board of directors. The Dryden District and Northwest Region of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry both contain land that is under Crown management that is part of the Dryden Forest.
