Birch Island Land & Cattle

We make food at Birch Island Farm that we feel secure and at ease consuming. We rear our cattle outside on new grassland, with lots of sunshine, clean air, and daily fresh greens to ensure this level of quality. Without the use of antibiotics, hormones, GMOs, pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilisers, our animals are raised humanely. While the cattle are entirely grass-fed, the pigs and fowl receive a blend of grains, the vast majority of which are certified organic (no grain). All of our animals are rotated across the best and cleanest pastures on a regular basis, which also helps the land by heavily fertilising it naturally before a period of rest.
